He is in over his head. He is a wonderful project manager/team lead. As CEOs go, the best that can be said is that he is not a menace in the way some self-appointed, god-like CEOs appear to be. That said, under his leadership, Google abandoned the "Don't be evil" motto of earlier eras. That means something.
