Terms of Use

Last updated: March 2026

1. Purpose

RateTheSuite is a platform for anonymously rating and reviewing C-suite executives based on professional experience. Our goal is to promote transparency and accountability in corporate leadership.

2. Community Standards

All reviews must adhere to the following standards:

  • Reviews must be based on genuine professional experience with the executive.
  • No hate speech, slurs, or content that demeans individuals based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • No personal attacks, threats, harassment, or defamatory statements.
  • No sharing of private personal information (addresses, phone numbers, etc.).
  • No profanity, obscene language, or vulgar content.
  • No content that is sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • No spam, fake reviews, or coordinated submissions designed to manipulate ratings.

3. Executive Eligibility

Only individuals who currently hold or have held a verified C-suite position are eligible to be added to RateTheSuite. Eligible titles include, but are not limited to:

  • Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  • Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
  • Chief Operating Officer (COO)
  • Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
  • Chief Information Officer (CIO)
  • Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
  • Chief Legal Officer (CLO)
  • Chief Security Officer (CSO)
  • Chief Product Officer (CPO)
  • Other recognized C-suite or equivalent executive leadership roles

Submissions for non-executive employees, managers, directors, or other non-C-suite personnel will be removed. We reserve the right to determine eligibility at our sole discretion.

4. Honesty & Accuracy

You agree to submit only truthful reviews based on your direct experience. Submitting false or misleading reviews, including reviews you were compensated or pressured to submit, is strictly prohibited.

5. Moderation

All reviews are subject to moderation before being published. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or edit any review that violates these terms at our sole discretion. Repeated violations may result in being blocked from submitting future reviews.

6. Anonymity

While reviews are displayed anonymously to the public, we may retain submission metadata for moderation and safety purposes. Anonymity is not a license to violate these terms.

7. Disclaimer & Opinions

All content on RateTheSuite — including ratings, reviews, comments, and any other user-submitted material — represents the personal opinions of individual users only. Nothing on this website should be construed as confirmed fact, verified information, or an objective assessment of any individual or organization.

RateTheSuite does not verify the employment history, identity, or relationship of reviewers to executives. We make no representations as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content submitted by users.

Ratings and reviews do not constitute professional assessments, legal claims, or endorsements by RateTheSuite. Users are solely responsible for the content they submit, and RateTheSuite expressly disclaims any liability arising from reliance on user-submitted opinions.

8. Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act

RateTheSuite is an interactive computer service that hosts user-generated content. Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (CDA) (47 U.S.C. § 230), no provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.

This means that RateTheSuite is legally treated as a distributor — not a publisher — of the reviews, ratings, comments, and other content submitted by our users.

Importantly, Section 230 also allows RateTheSuite to moderate its platform without assuming legal liability. We may review, remove, or restrict content we deem objectionable — including content that is obscene, lewd, defamatory, or otherwise in violation of these Terms — without that moderation converting our role from distributor to publisher. Our moderation practices are designed to foster a respectful, accountable community and do not waive the protections afforded to us under the CDA.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
