One of the most out-of-touch executives Stellantis has had. Employees have been asked to sacrifice while leadership refuses to accept responsibility for years of poor decisions. After Tavares' cost-cutting damaged quality, morale, and sales, workers are now forced into 5-day RTO with no clear business justification—even as competitors like Ford and GM continue hybrid work. That decision alone costs many employees $5,000-$10,000+ per year in commuting, parking, meals, childcare, vehicle wear, and lost time, during one of the worst affordability crises in decades. Meanwhile, profit sharing has largely disappeared while executive bonuses continue. Experienced employees are retiring or leaving, new graduates are underpaid and overworked, company lease prices have soared, and serious workplace issues have gone unaddressed. Leadership has offered little acknowledgment, gratitude, or empathy. Morale continues to collapse because employees are treated as costs, not people. Despicable
