Far a great company this place sure can’t seem to get the CIO role right. Bill was very old school, drill Sargent like mentality. That works in the Army but it doesn’t work in moderns times with modern workforces. He was quick to yell and threaten to get his way. Lines like “because I’m the CIO and I’m telling you” when questioned by colleagues instead of offering any thought process that went into his decision. The department crumbled under his leadership, talent was walking out the door left and right. He was the worst CIO of my 40 year IT career, that is until they hired his replacement.
