If you look the phrases Socratic Questioning, Disingenuous, Intellectual Opportunistic, Idea Harvesting, and Contrarian in the dictionary, his picture surfaces.

David will say or do almost anything to protect his position and his view of the company. He often leads through fear and frames it as “pressure testing.” If you challenge his perspective, even constructively, he can quickly flip the issue back on you rather than address the substance of the disagreement. He presents himself as highly knowledgeable in sales and marketing despite not having held a direct sales role in over a decade. Significant money has also been spent on overlapping technology and lead-generation solutions that, in my experience, have added complexity rather than improved inbound performance. The most disappointing part is what happens when someone leaves. Based on what I observed, you should not expect your contributions or performance at the company to translate into a positive recommendation afterward. Under his leadership, the culture felt driven by protecting the existing narrative and applying pressure rather than encouraging open debate or problem-solving.

He has termed people without really understanding what their role entails. And he calls himself chief of staff.

And who said he was smart? He leads sales and the group is failing. He is a poor leader.

David is the lap dog of the CEO, he has told us so many lies that I don’t believe e single word that comes out of his mouth. It a good business partner, lacks credibility and willingness to shoot straight.

Could not find the right title as his is all made up. He is Rich Holland’s shadow and CEO wannabe. Narcissistic, just repeats what Rich says. Lacks creativity. And has not demonstrated any type of success at his current company. Why is he still employed? He is not a business person. He does not make sense. If you throw him a curveball he will swing and miss. He can’t go off script.
